Ian is the president and founder of Project Navigator,
Ltd. He has more than 20 years of industrial experience solving
environmental remediation problems. He worked as a "project
owner" for Unocal before forming Project Navigator in 1997.
Ian has worked to position Project Navigator as a creative problem
solving entity that operates with the owners' interests foremost
in mind.
Ian has worked
on all aspects of some of the country's largest Superfund
remediation projects from negotiations to construction. For
example, Ian was a President of the PRPs' Work Entity at the
Operating Industries Inc. site for 3 years in the late 90's
and managed the construction of a remedy that involved 200
personnel. Ian's major clients include ChevronTexaco, ExxonMobil
and ConocoPhillips.
Ian's skills are in project planning and logistics,
remedy development, design and construction, risk management
and regulatory negotiations. He has assisted on many mergers
and acquisitions due diligence teams. He has also served as
an expert witness to the oil industry and is the author of
more than 30 technical publications.
